Sammy Lawson

Sammy joined the Crystal Ballroom Team in January 2025. In 2023 he graduated with a degree in secondary education and a minor in music and dance.  He trained in ballet, modern, aerial and partnering in college and since has danced professionally in 3 professional dance companies!  Sammy has placed in Color Guard Drill Team in the top 5 nationally and adds an element of athleticism and professionalism to our team.  He passed the Core-6 Test after training for only 2 weeks and is now working on his Dance Vision associate level certification in both smooth and rhythm.  Sammy is excited to return to his educational roots to bring joy and connection through movement, music and dance to his newfound community!  When not dancing here, Sammy continues dancing professionally with the Whirlwind Dance Company and playing video games to unwind.
