Silver Cha Cha Slide, Weekly West Coast Swing and Intro to Competition Team Classes

Hello Everyone!

‍Ladies Trip this week was a lot of fun, I know it was very last minute for many of you, but we had a great time traveling up to Cleveland to Ballroom Bliss to look at ballroom gowns. Thanks to Sandy for the hospitality, making us feel welcome, and sharing your beautiful inventory with us! We are already in the process of planning another trip to give more of you the opportunity to try on the beautiful gowns available to rent or buy for competitions and showcases! Thanks to Jody and Mallory for joining me on our flagship trip! :)

‍Monday 7:00pm - New Slide into Silver Cha Cha Group Class
‍If you want more variety in your Cha Cha!Kelsey brings you all another class to learn new steps and keep adding to your dances. This time, start learning steps from the Silver Cha Cha Syllabus!

‍Thursday 8:30pm - WEEKLY WEST COAST SWING at THE CRYSTAL BALLROOM
‍EVERY Thursday starting February 9th join us for a class and practice session! Let's build the West Coast Swing Community!I have been asked quite a few times lately if The Crystal Ballroom can offer more West Coast Swing, I understand the other opportunities in town are not weekly, therefore, I am starting a weekly class to give all of the Westies (and wanna be Westies) a chance to dance, learn, and practice every Thursday! We will be teaching 2 levels of classes at 8:30pm, followed at 9:15 by a practice session! If you've ever wanted to start dancing West Coast Swing, or just want to get to the point of being comfortable leading or following, these classes are your opportunity! Check out our first class/practice on February 9th!!

‍Every Thursday 7:45pm - Intro to Competition Team Classes
‍No Pressure way to dip your toes in the Comp Team Waters! Starting February 9th at 7:45pm, join us to begin to learn the routines and basic techniques! This class uses your current membership to try out beginner competition team classes in a low-pressure, no commitment way. Each week we'll add a dance routine to get you moving towards joining the Competition Team! After 6 Weeks dances will rotate to give you a chance to review. If you choose to continue, you can join the Monthly Competition Team next!

As always, you DO NOT need a partner to come participate in this fun themed ballroom dance! As always, we go ALL OUT with our big events, catered buffet, themed atmosphere, photo opportunity and more!!! Pricing is $85 for Members and $100 for Non-Members. You can purchase tickets by clicking HERE, or call the studio at 614-505-8698! Who wants to go back in time to spend time at the Soda Shop? Pick out your favorite pastel outfit and show up to PROM! This party is one of our biggest parties of the year featuring the decorating expertise of Sissi Thompson, the Musical Skills of David Ross, the Photography of Tom Wehrung, and the Inclusion of all The Crystal Ballroom Staff!

This Friday is our Special Party for Current Private Lesson Students! Saturday join us for our Weekly Ballroom Dance Party at 8:00pm! (Although our studio instructors will be at a fundraiser for the Make a Wish Foundation on Saturday, we are lucky to have Kristie Waltz teaching Night Club 2-Step before the party on Saturday! Join us for this all levels class!!)
