Holiday Specials, New Year's Eve, Fun Match and more

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the first week of December 2024.  Can you believe it's already December?!  Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I headed up to Cleveland area for their Cash Bash West Coast Swing weekend and competition.  This was one of my best WCS weekends yet and I will admit to you all that I had an amazing experience as I reconnected with my passion for dancing and was reminded that expressing through dance is a beautiful non-judgemental way to express myself and enjoy life.  We are so lucky to have this outlet and I'm grateful that I get the chance to share this same atmosphere of non-judgemental joy of expression to music with everyone in our ballroom.

I would love to share my accomplishments this weekend, if it's ok with you all.  Obviously many people from the area placed well, made finals, and enjoyed dancing this weekend, I (and my partner Mark from Cleveland) placed first in Novice Hustle Jack & Jill (meaning I danced with a random partner, made it to finals, then won) and I also was blessed to place 1st in Novice/Newcomer Swing Strictly (meaning I got to pick my partner) with Mallory. Thanks to those who helped us through coaching, Joy Stachura and Robert Cordoba.

You all are invited to join us for Chuckie Cheese/Ballroom Dance type of fun for our Holiday Fun Match: Candy Cane vs Coal (Friday December 13th from 7pm-10pm).

Who: Anyone who knows at least a couple of steps in any of the partner dances and would like to dance with 1 or more partners!

What: Dress up for team Candy Cane or team Coal, Sign up to dance with a variety of (or your favorite) dance partners and win Crystal Ballroom Bucks to buy fun prizes.

When: Sign up NOW to dance on Friday December 13th from 7pm-10pm
