Hello Everyone!

I'm gonna share the inside scoop on the lessons learned when owning a ballroom dance center: Be Proactive.

David and I opened The Crystal Ballroom 6 years ago (in December) with the goal of creating a customer centric dance community that has something for everyone: learning, joy, fitness, and a great community.  We have been blessed over and over with fantastic employees who care about our customers and put their heart and soul into dancing.  Our business model is built to care for customers and give those wanting a career in the arts the opportunity to pursue their passion full-time while sharing it with others.

With that said, as a whole the industry tends to hold teachers around 2 years and we've been blessed to keep our best teachers for over 3 years.  Well, in order to always have tons of teachers to foster your learning and dance with, we have learned a valuable lesson in being proactive!

So.... proactively, we are prioritizing hiring/training instructors being a non-stop process: always looking for those passionate about sharing their love of dance and devoting their time to mastering their craft and building their repertoire!  Currently we have found a wonderful new instructor in Holly, we have a few teachers in training, and in the future we're excited to continuously offer training classes to foster new instructors as we are currently looking for the perfect additions to our studio family.

If you are thankful for dance, join us for our Harvest of Gratitude Showcase on November 16th at 4pm!  We get the chance to highlight students performing in Formations and Solos!  There will be some general dances between numbers.  You can purchase tickets in advance HERE, or at the door.
