Cruise Planning Survey, Out on the Town Friday, Meet Ernesto

Hello Everyone!

Those of you that didn't make it to the Out on the Town Thursday Night, the VIP Party Friday, or the Saturday Party we announced a new instructor: Ernesto.  Ernesto is officially part of The Crystal Ballroom Team and he and I got the chance to perform a Salsa on Saturday night.  After 3 hours of rehearsal we put it on the floor and I just tried to keep up with his Latin heat!  See the video of our performance by clicking HERE!

A little background: Ernesto was the hip-hop national champion in Peru, then attended the Joffrey School of Ballet as well as a Broadway dance training program.  He spent many years as a professional ballet dancer.  He has choreographed for "Dancing with the Stars Peru", as well as owning his own dance studio, judging, choreographing and teaching Latin dances throughout the last 30 years.

Harvest of Gratitude Formation Casting Day is TONIGHT (Monday Sept 23rd) at 6:15pm! If you'd like to make some friends in the studio and get more involved with our community of dancers, joining a formation is a great way to join in!  Over the next 8 weeks we'll be teaching 3 unique routines!  There will be a Hustle Routine, Salsa or Bachata Routine, and a Ladies Routine!  Give thanks with us for those things that are important to you with a fun new routine and new friends!

Our Winter Getaway Cruise needs your input!!! Pricing varies greatly depending on the length of the cruise, itinerary, which ship, and how many people are going.  THEREFORE... please click on this link and fill out this quick 3min survey!  Even if you aren't sure you'd like to go, this will help us know who is interested and make sure we are considering your budget, ideas, and preferences!!  (btw, the estimated prices I gave last week were for an individual interior cabin on a 8 night Southern Caribbean Cruise on a mid-size ship after flying to Ft. Lauderdale and including 2 instructors and only 2-6 cabins.)

We are going Out on the Town again this Friday.  This will be one of the biggest concerts (weather permitting) with Conspiracy Band in Grove City!!  The band starts at 6:30pm (bring a chair or blanket) we will be meeting up around 7pm and then hanging out until the end of the event!  If you want to just wear blue to represent The Crystal Ballroom that will work, you can also purchase one of our Cotton Crystal Ballroom T-Shirts for only $15.  

The last week of September is upon us, if you take private lessons (or want to!) DO NOT miss our September Only Lesson Special.  It is rare for us to offer specials below our normal rates and this is your chance this year to load up on lessons so you can continue to learn, improve and polish your dancing!  Check out these GREAT rates below!

Contact me this week if you still want to sign up for student testing or a coaching with Dance Vision Adjudicator Lisa Vegas on October 3rd! Lisa is returning as our local Dance Vision coach.  If you've attended the Thursday Dance Vision Classes be sure to mark your calendars for the special workshops with Lisa Vegas!  She will be helping you understand the syllabus and continue working towards testing out of other levels!  $30 per 45min workshop.

Btw, yes, we are aware the light in the ladies restroom in the ballroom has been flickering and as much as we'd like to claim that we are early preparing for halloween, unfortunately the light fixture seems to be going bad and we are currently working on replacing it (we thought maybe we could just change a bulb, but unfortunately it's a bigger fix).  Thank for letting us know, your input is invaluable!
