CBC Success, Studio Showcase, and Coming Soon!

Hello Everyone!

Our Competition weekend at CBC Dancesport Challenge was a huge success!  Thank you to all of our competitors!!  We had a blast hanging out, cheering for each other (and everyone else in the ballroom), putting our best foot forward (pun intended) and competing!

Each of our competitors devoted themselves to private lessons, rounds, group classes, and workshops to prepare for this weekend. Their hard work showed up on the floor with great posture, footwork, and well rehearsed routines!

Our team was 22 people strong with 9 ProAm Competitors, 8 AmAm Competitors, 8 Soloists, and 5 Formation Participants!  Cedric, Josh, Sophia and I are very proud of your progress and were extremely excited to get the chance to dance with you all this weekend!

Saturday night was the award ceremony, and we had the pleasure of winning thanks to you all!

Without everyone's support we could not have achieved this, we're so lucky to have a wonderful team and cheering section!

There were many fun moments of having meals together, getting up at the crack of dawn (the competition started at 7am Friday and 6:30am Saturday!) as well as being loud and supportive.  We've discussed going on a cruise together next just to have great company and get the chance to hang out even more!  The aim is to find a great cruise around December/January, so look for more details soon!

Our Next big event for the studio is our Studio Showcase on November 16th!  What song are you dying to dance to for your own featured "Dancing with the Stars" type of performance?? Would you prefer to join a formation and make some new friends while learning a fun routine? Let's set up a meeting to brainstorm ideas and get you set up to dance!! Solos can start soon, while Formations begin the week of September 15th.

This Friday we will be at the Byron Saunder's Fundraiser... Dancing with Columbus Stars where Josh, Cedric, Mallory and I will be showing off our Local Stars and trying to win the Mirror Ball Trophy!

Then Saturday join us for our wonderful weekly ballroom dance party preceded by an Intro or Continuing Samba Classes!
