Busy Season - beginner friendly classes and upcoming Halloween party!

Hello Everyone!

We are ramping up into the busy season here at The Crystal Ballroom! Fall is a great time for people to try out something new, get into a new routine, and begin dancing.

This Thursday we have a complimentary event designed for you to introduce your friends and family to The Crystal Ballroom! Our FREE Champagne Open House & Beginner Group Class is at 7pm on Thursday, please RSVP so we are sure to have enough chocolate covered strawberries and champagne!

Our Adult Formations are beginning this week! If you think it would be fun to join a group of people as you improve your dancing, attend a consistent class, and perform as a group in December, our studio Showcase Formations start tonight!

Tonight 6:15pm - Bolero Formation - dance a beginner friendly routine with a partner... no partner necessary to join

Tonight 7:45pm - Gentlemen's Paso Doble Formation-Men dance an unpartnered aggressive routine with capework

Wednesday 6:15pm - Viennese Waltz Formation-dance a beginner friendly routine with a partner... no partner necessary to join

Friday 6:15pm - Ladies Jive Formation-Ladies dance an unpartnered sexy Jive routine

You are welcome to attend any of these first classes to see which you'd like to join, you will need to pay for for the Formation before the 2nd practice! Hope to see many of you out trying out these classes!

If you take regular (weekly) Private Dance Lessons with us, we are excited to host our monthly Private Student Appreciation Party this Thursday from 8pm-9:30pm!! This is an opportunity to come and dance with a variety of private lesson students in a supportive and friendly environment! Remember to try to get a dance with everyone including all of the instructors! :)

This Friday The Crystal Ballroom will be heading Out on the Town to Grove City! Join us at Grove City's Summer Sizzler Concert Series to dance to live music! Please bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the performances in Town Center Park, 3359 Park St. Grove City, Ohio, across from the Safety Complex. We'll be arriving around 7pm and wearing bright blue.

Congratulations to Aaron & Kelsey for getting out there on the competition floor again this past Saturday in Cleveland! We continue to see their growth as Professional Dancers and Competitors! Ohio Star Ball is coming in November, we'll be sure to bring a group to support them then!

Our Competition Team began this past weekend, you still have a chance to try one of the classes for free This Thursday at 7:45pm! This is our Cha Cha Routine Class, hope you can make it! Please call the studio at 614-505-8698 with any questions! We'll be getting pictures of the team members to put on the wall soon!

It's time for Halloween again at The Crystal Ballroom, including a "haunted" house, Potluck Competition, Costume Contest, and dancing to all of your creepy tunes! Mark your calendars for October 29th 7pm-10pm for the Best Halloween Party in Columbus!!! If you're a big fan of the Halloween Season, we'd love to include you in our Decorating Party on October 22nd as well! :) Join us for Pizza and help create the atmosphere for our party the next weekend!

This week we have Friday Out on the Town in Grove City, and we'll be dancing the night away at our Weekly Ballroom Dance Party on Saturday!!!
