$119,000 Raised for Byron Saunders Foundation

Hello Everyone!

Coming off of the competition weekend, we had a chance to get some rest, then prepare for the Byron Saunders Foundation: Dancing with Columbus Stars Fundraiser! Friday night we had a wonderful time dancing and raising money for Thanksgiving meals for those in need.

Josh and Corrie danced a fun Pirate themed East Coast Swing and were 3rd place fundraising team raising $17,111.  

Myself, Mallory and Andrew got the crowd laughing with our Cha Cha, won 3rd place overall and were 2nd place fundraising team with $20,727 raised.  

Cedric and Sameen killed it dancing a Cha Cha and receiving some of the top scores of the night.  They received top overall team winning the Mirror Ball Trophy and raising a record breaking $30,706!!!  

Overall this event raised over $119,000 to provide meals for close to 7,000 families in the Columbus Ohio area this Thanksgiving!  Thanks to everyone who donated and made a difference for these families!

Our Next big event for the studio is our Harvest of Gratitude Studio Showcase on November 16th!  Give thanks with us for those things that are important to you with a fun new routine.  Showcases are a great way to challenge yourself, build confidence, and experience the emotion of dance!  What song are you dying to dance to for your own featured "Dancing with the Stars" type of performance?? Would you prefer to join a formation and make some new friends while learning a fun routine? Let's set up a meeting to brainstorm ideas and get you set up to dance!! Solos can start soon, while Formations begin the week of September 15th.

This Friday our staff will be at Matsuricon (an anime, video game, and geek convention in Columbus) Ball helping to host their formal dance event!

Then Saturday join us for our wonderful weekly ballroom dance party preceded by two levels of Foxtrot Classes!
